Happy New Years!!!!!

Happy New Years!!!

My contest questions will be posted the 15th of January.  I will leave the instructions for answering the questions on the 15th.

I am happy to present the January charms of the month.  They are inspired by New Year resolutions.  I know that I always intend to eat healthier every year.   I have chosen to do a veggie platter, a fruit platter, and a cobb salad for the January charms.    I am including the photos below.
The veggie platter includes yellow and green bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks, celery stick, zuchini, and ranch dressing.  This was a very time consumming little guy!!  He was fun to make though
My fruit platter has slices of orange, kiwi, banana, and strawberry.

Here is my cobb salad.  It is a bed of lettuce on a platter, topped with tomato, turkey, bacon, avacado, cheese, and a slice of boiled egg.

I am thinking of doing one photo tutorial a month.  I would do a tutorial of one charm of the month.  If you would like this, vote on which one you would like to see the tutorial of by leaving a response in the comment section of  the blog.

Thank you!!!

Food Obsessions

Welcome!  I don't know about you, but I love food.  The way it looks, smells, and tastes.  Here I will merge my love of food and creativity.  There is a slight twist here though..  The photos shared will not always be edible.  I take my favorite foods, and then make them into jewelry, so I will share images of real food, miniature polymer food, and links to great recipes.  I hope you enjoy this undertaking.  I welcome any you to comment and make requests.

Here is some gooey See's goodness!  How could you go wrong with cherries and chocolate.  I love chocolate!!!  The other following images are charms and beads handmade by me with polymer clay.

They turned out pretty well, and I had fun eating my inspirational models.  I am looking forward to sharing more.  It will be quite a tasty endeavor.

If you like what you see you can find my pieces on Etsy.

My version of the chocolate truffle is looking quite yummy.  There is even a little cherry in there.  I used Premo and liquid sculpy in this sweet little charm.  It is only 6mm wide.

These premo beads made a fun bracelet.  It makes me want to run for more See's though.
