Continue repeating rows 1-8 until piece measures 6 inches. Continues knitting on the U.S. size 7 needles until piece measures 12 ½ inches, bind off. Leave a tail for sewing from the top of your gauntlet. Fold piece in half lengthwise, using the Cast on tail sew up to 4 inches from the top of your gauntlet. Weave in the left over yarn. Using the tail of the bind off edge, sew 2 inches, and weave in your end. This will leave a 2 inch gap for your thumb to fit through.
